The Creative Arts Curriculum
The curriculum is based on National Curriculum development in their widest sense with a strong emphasis on bringing both the arts curriculum and the whole school curriculum alive.
We adapt the best of the National Curriculum to ensure that every child receives the most appropriate teaching and an enriching experience of the Arts both in specific arts classes and across curriculum areas.
Curriculum plans are differentiated to meet the individual needs of all our pupils including a wide range of practical activities and experiences. The school also focuses on developing long term and sustainable arts partnerships with the broader community which enriches the experiences of our pupils.
Out of hours activities include art clubs. Senior students attend a range of arts courses at college including photography and ceramics.
