Arbour Vale School - Music
The Music Curriculum is divided into four areas:

Controlling sounds through singing and playing – performing skills.

Creating and developing musical areas – composing skills.

Responding and reviewing – appraising skills.

Listening and applying – knowledge and understanding.

A key aspect of our Music education at Arbour Vale lies in the promotion and development of positive communication and reinforcement of cooperative working framework. Our music is alive, exciting, sensitive and endless imaginative that all our pupils can engage within learning.
Out of hours activities include lunch time key-boards and drumming clubs as well as rehearsals for numerous performances both within school and at exterior venues.

Incidental and Group Specialist Tuition is provided for certain aspects of the Arts curriculum from time to time, such as drum kits and steel pans tuition.  These sessions are paid for by the school.  Some group tuition is provided by school staff.
