Arbour Vale School - Atlantic College
Atlantic College is where our older pupils go for a week of challenging and fun activities which can include canoeing, abseiling, archery and rock climbing.

As this is an International Baccalaureate College there are students attending from throughout the world who worked with our students as part of a leadership course.

The evenings had a more creative aspect which our students also enjoyed and plus there was the use of an indoor swimming pool.

An excursion to Cardiff is exciting and the students have the opportunity to look around a village set up in a different era which enabled them to discover how life used to be for people.  Then it was back to the modern world of 10 pin bowling and a meal in a restaurant.

In November 2008, Post 16 students attended an OAA residential at Atlantic College in Wales.  They participated in activities such as, sand sledging, climbing, canoeing, low ropes, and team building activities.

Our trip this year was 28 Sept until 2 Oct 2009

On Monday we did a rope assault course and Treasure hunt.

On Tuesday we did Beach games and a Castle tour.

On Wednesday we did Sand Sledging and Rock Climbing

On Thursday we did Canoeing.

On Friday we came back to School.
We had great fun
