Arbour Vale School - Outreach
Arbour Vale provides an Outreach Service available to all Slough Schools. This is currently a free service. Much of this work involves supporting access to the curriculum for SEN pupils in mainstream placements consisting of an initial visit, action plan and follow up visits. This may also include input for Annual Reviews, advice or loan of resources or specialist INSET training on Makaton, P Levels, Circle of Friends, or staff visits to Arbour Vale.

As part of the support offered, Arbour Vale may also provide ‘Inreach’ weekly visit opportunities for some Slough pupils in mainstream schools who have targets that cannot be fully met with support in their own schools. This is carefully arranged and works in conjunction with integration visits for some Arbour Vale pupils to local mainstream schools.

Arbour Vale Outreach Service is separate to the Slough Autism Outreach Service which would need to be contacted for support with pupils with a diagnosis of Autism. For pupils without a diagnosis of Autism, Arbour Vale Outreach Service can work in conjunction with Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Educational Psychologists, etc.

Headteachers and SENCOs can make contact by emailing. All enquiries welcome. outreach@arbourvale.slough.sch.uk
